ABOUT OUR COMMUNITY:
Our building is arranged to offer the maximum protection for Memory Impaired residents. We work very closely with their doctors to find the appropriate medication and dosage to allow these residents to truly enjoy their lives without being so over medicated that they can not function properly. I might add that our success in giving Memory Impaired residents back much of their lives is so appreciated that many of their families and medical professionals have called it nothing short of miraculous.

The size of our community offers the benefit of having a variety of people to befriend as well as a  loving place to live.  Many have found genuine friends and formed deep friendships. We are committed to giving your loved one the best experience and care available.  We also offer a wide range of social activities and programs to satisfy the needs of most residents.  Our caring staff is well trained in the physical and emotional needs of all the residents, and offers encouragement and care, appropriate to each individual. 
 

Careful attention is given to preparing tasteful, flavorful and nutritious meals which do not taste bland, as is the reputation of many other care communities. Evening snacks are served daily and attention is given to the special dietary needs of those residents who require them.  Juice and drink carts are offered between meals in order to keep our residents hydrated. Residents are assisted with personal care, bathing and their personal hygiene that
 may be needed.

Assistance is available around the clock, with 2 staff members remaining awake throughout the night. They stand ready to check on residents regularly every two hours, and respond to nurse call paging continually, and to give any assistance or medications needed.

Housekeeping and laundry services are provided as an included service unlike facilities which add charges for every care service they provide.

Residents can visit the on-site beauty/barber shop for a small extra cost.  There is a large sitting room with a big screen TV, and a front parlor/activity room that is suitable for family gatherings.

For our memory impaired residents, we  provide a secured perimeter to help protect their safety and security, while the more alert residents are able to enter and leave freely. Though no system is 100% free from human error, our system is as secure as humanly possible.  We also do not isolate our memory care residents because our experience has shown that they profit emotionally from mixing with all the other residents and so do the other residents who are also able to love them. 

We have a visiting Podiatrist at our community at regular intervals for those residents needing to use him.
